21-25 November 2022

Sydney will host the 1st University of Sydney Net-Zero Initiative (NZI) Conference on 21-25 November 2022. It will run jointly to the third Australian Circular Economy Conference (ACEC). This multi-event will run in a hybrid format combining onsite and virtual participation.

We are delighted to invite you to join us in shaping the format of the program and welcome your ideas on seminars, sessions, workshops, and events, and how you might like to contribute.

This is an exciting time to shift and transform our industry, manufacturing, economy, and prosperity agenda together. The Net-Zero Initiative was launched in March 2022 at the University of Sydney, focused on accelerating Australia’s path to Net Zero through innovative partnerships backed by our world class research.

The Australian Circular Economy Conference, in its third iteration, will be an opportunity to bring together current and emerging circular economy leaders in Australia. The conference will build on the success of the prior ACECs and will be the launch of the first ANZC, to offer a joint conference program.

This joint event will target audiences from all sectors of the community including researchers, industry, start-ups, government, and not-for-profit organisations with the objective of sharing knowledge on Net Zero and circular economy, and discuss related trends in policy, research, education, business and industry. This event will promote the role of the University in building a whole-of-society Net Zero and Circular Economy approach that serves our well-being and prosperity agenda.
